The Zanzibar Retreat is located in Matemwe, on the north-east coast of Zanzibar. The beach has fine white sand, lapped by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and cooled by the ever-present ocean breezes.

The stylishly decorated en-suite rooms have large Swahili beds, mosquito nets, AC, ceiling fans, ocean facing verandas, satellite TV, Internet (Wireless & LAN).

There are two restaurants, one has a beach patio and one upstairs with an ocean view.

The hotel is five minutes away from a major dive centre and will help you to arrange diving and snorkelling to the world famous Mnemba Island and reef which is 4k offshore.
