Matemwe Beach Guesthouse

Matemwe Beach Guesthouse is located out on its own on a long stretch of classic palm-lined, white sandy beach on the North East coast of Zanzibar Island. Just off-shore is the world-famous Mnemba Atoll and some of the best diving in East Africa.
There are 5 suites, all with upstairs veranda areas and set back from the beach. The 17 standard rooms all have en-suite bathrooms, hot water and fans.
The Asali suite is special and private for honeymooners.
Dining is in Zanzibarian style with low tables and cushions.
There is a swimming pool and a full 5 star IDC PADI dive school offering certificate courses, plus try dives and snorkelling trips for the non-divers.
