A Tanzania camping safari is not a luxury option. You travel from camp to camp with equipment. food and your personal safari chef with you in the vehicle. The chef will set-up camp and prepare a meal while you enjoy your safari.

For your comfort we provide a spacious safari tent, a sleeping pad, dining equipment and sumptuous food.

On this 4 day (3 night) safari you will visit Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, visit a Maasai boma and accompany an armed ranger on a bush walking safari in Arusha National Park - an opportunity to get closer to the wildlife.

Day 1: After breakfast at your hotel, your safari driver/guide will join you to begin the drive to Tarangire NP. Arriving around lunch time, enjoy a picnic lunch before entering the wildlife park. An afternoon game drive will take you exploring the different wildlife habitats before it is time to leave for the journey west to Mtw wa Mbu and the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Enjoy game driving in Lake Manyara NP. Return to the campsite mid afternoon. Later you have the option to visit local artisans at their work . Dinner and overnight camping.

Day 3: After breakfast enter Ngorongoro and drive down the steep sided track that leads to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a morning game driving. After lunch leave the Crater and drive east to the campsite on the borders of Arusha NP. Dinner and overnight camping.

Day 4: Early morning join an armed park ranger for a 'bush walking safari" (1 to 4 hours max). You may be asked to join others for your bush walk if few rangers are available. The route taken will depend on the location and activity of the wildlife. Return to your vehicle to continue exploring more areas of the park. Mid afternoon return to Moshi or Arusha and your hotel (hotel night not included).
