Choose and Book Kilimanjaro Climb Routes:
Lemosho Route: 8 trekking days (camping route):
A scenic drive through west Kilimanjaro to begin hiking within the forest. Peaceful and unspoiled Kili-trekking up to Shira Plateau to join the south circuit (Machame) for the summit ascent.
Machame Route: 6 or 7 trekking days (camping route):
Machame route follows a rugged up and down trail. Hike high - sleep low is good for acclimatizing. Your challenge - a scramble up Baranco wall (easier than it looks). A popular route for trekkers.
Rongai Route: 6 or 7 trekking days (camping route):
A low traffic route and the only north-eastern Kilimanjaro route that begins near the Kenya border. The trail has a relatively gentle gradient and short daily stages to begin. Descent is via the Marangu route.
Marangu Route: 6 trekking days (hut route):
A gradual ascent, Marangu can be a busy due to the misconception that it is easy ' the coca cola route'. The trail follows a steep zig-zag path to challenge weary climbers on the summit ascent. Ascent and descent is on the same route.
