Day 1: Your driver/guide will pick you up in the morning at your hotel and begin the drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Arriving around lunch time, enjoy your picnic before beginning the afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: After breakfast you will be driven west to enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the route to Serengeti national park. The drive offers many opportunities for wildlife viewing. Arrive at the lodge in the Serengeti early evening for relaxation before dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Taking a picnic lunch, this is a full day wildlife viewing within the Serengeti. The route taken will depend on the location and activities of the wildlife. Return to the lodge early evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Expect an early wake up call to start your day with a dawn game drive, a time of much activity in the bush. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, leave the Serengeti and return through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife viewing en-route. Stop for a picnic lunch at Oldovai Gorge. The site is referred to as 'the cradle of man kind' after Dr. Louis Leakey in 1959 discovered the skull of Zinjanthropus or “Nutcracker Man” believed to have lived 1.75 million years ago. The journey ends at the lodge on Ngorongoro crater rim. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: After breakfast descend the steep sided track to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater passing Maasai herders who share the crater ecosystem. Your morning game drive will explore the vast caldera, with many opportunities to linger while viewing the activities of the wildlife. After enjoying a picnic lunch, leave the crater mid afternoon to return east to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
