Our Kili celebration safari will take you to explore Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara.

How to book:

This safari is available as an option on any group trek or private trek booking form. It can also be booked via the links on this page as a private short safari.

Decide which accommodation you prefer - adventure camping (basic) or safari lodge (comfort) - selek the link under 'Book Now' (opens in a new window) - select dates - add your details - submit your booking. (We will check your dates against any other booking you may have with us.)

Kilimanjaro extension safari - 3 days (2 safari nights):

Accommodation: Adventure camping or safari lodge - 2 nights (full-board), plus 1 hotel night (after safari, B&B.)

Day 1: Your safari driver/guide will join you at your accommodation to start the drive to Tarangire National Park (NP). Tarangire is famous for large elephant herds and boabab forest. Expect to arrive around lunchtime. After a picnic lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp. (full-board)

Day 2: After breakfast drive into Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On route to Ngorongoro crater there is a magnificent view-point looking over the caldera. Descend the steep sided track to the floor of the crater to begin the game drive exploring the natural habitats of this vast caldera. After a picnic lunch, leave Ngorongoro crater and return to the lodge or camp for relaxation before dinner and overnight (lodge or camp). (full-board)

Day 3: It is a short drive to enter Lake Manyara NP. Explore the diverse habitats including the ancient soda lake before leaving in the afternoon to return east to Moshi and your hotel for a final overnight (included, bed & breakfast).

Transfers to Kilimanjaro Airport are not included.

We will check your 'extension safari' booking against any other bookings you may have with us. Your departure airport transfer may already be included within another tour. We will adjust your booking as necessary.
